Say goodbye to Sunshine Adventure Park after one last visit!

Kayben Farms’ Sunshine Adventure Park has been a mainstay of Calgary family adventures for years now. Opening in 2009, the park let young people and their parents experience all authentic farm life in a fun, educational trip that reminds people of how life used to be. Featuring animals, hayrides, farm fresh snacks and more, Sunshine Adventure Park was a great way to get out in the fresh air, laugh, and learn.

Unfortunately, Kayben Farms have announced that they will be closing Sunshine Adventure Park for good after this Halloween. While that’s very sad, there’s a silver lining: you can still get out for one last visit this Halloween! Whether you’ve been to Sunshine Adventure Park many times with your family or you’ve never been, this is your last chance to make some beautiful family memories at this one-of-a-kind attraction!

Enjoy a picnic out on the lawn – don’t worry, Sunshine Adventure Park has some great picnic basket options available for families and couples – and take it all in. If you show up on the weekend, there will be fun experiences like pumpkin painting, wagon rides, s’mores roasting and more! 

Because Sunshine Adventure Park is wide open, the only activity that you will be required to wear a mask for is the wagon ride, which puts you in close quarters with other patrons on an open air wagon. Otherwise, this is a great way to get out and breathe in all the goodness of a real working farm! 

It’s sad to say goodbye, but important to celebrate what’s there while you have it. We hope you’ll make the most of Sunshine Adventure Park this October!
